There was expectation on what the now Epic Games’s studio Mediatonic has to announce to its PvP massive multiplayer Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and definitely it is some good news for those who are not able to play and also for those who could.

Mediatonic announces today three important things for its 2020 massive hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and the first is that it will begin to be free-to-play and no longer you should be charged beginning on June 21.

With that, it was also announced that the version of Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch will finally arrive by summer this year.

Finally and related with the arrival on more platforms, Fall Guys will also support cross-play for all systems, meaning that you can play with people from PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch, including transferring your progression within the game or the TLDR of this, cross-progression.

As celebration for everything announced, there will be a new event in-game called Free For All, that will feature new challenges and rewards, new events and locations, “major updates to the game’s progression systems,” and a new in-game currency: Show-Bucks. Players can purchase Fall Guys’ season pass with Show-Bucks, but there will also be a free progression track.

With this, existing players will win free cosmetics in a Legacy Pack bundle and the Free For All season pass for investing early in Fall Guys and hopefully this includes those original players that began playing when Fall Guys debuted on PS4 via PS Plus.
