DICE and Electronic Arts had a hard time with the cycle of Battlefield’s latest entry, Battlefield 2042 and if delaying the FIRST SEASON to an uncommon amount of months is enough, another blow just went off.
DICE announced today that Hazard Zone, the answer to Battle Royale mode for Battlefield 2042 will no longer be in active development.
Instead, they will be going to ensure that the Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be optimized and already are getting low on quantities of player than originally the game permitted, including less Sectors and Capture points for Conquest.
According to DICE all this decision will help to better control the flow and pacing of combat, making sure that you’re spending more time engaging and not enlarging a game session without doing random things to make up time.
There will be more updates as the Season 1 of Battlefield 2042 just went official.
