Electronic Arts has announced the End Of Life of the BioWare Points, which was kind of a loyalty reward program that could make DLCs of some of its game redeemable and the end comes with a happy ending.

With the conclusion of BioWare Points, EA is now offering most DLC from Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 to all players for free.

The news was publicly shared to users via email and while the email is being sent in periods of time, pretty much confirms the fact, but also, Crystals and Platinum will remain unaffected and all content previously purchased using BioWare Points will still be accessible.

The changes are part of the refocus of EA Origin as a launcher and direct EA store for games as Electronic Arts is emphasizing more on their subscription program EA Play.
