Personally, I can say that beside growing as a gaming content creator's pleasure, is the opportunity to do charity or participate in a fundraising for a greater good like I did in the 2022 Gamers Outreach campaign as part of EasternMediaGG direct effort.
Seems that Twitch is sharing that feeling as FINALLY the Amazon's subsidiary for streaming has announced a test version of Twitch Charity, a platform where Twitch can handle all of the fundraising technical aspects.
Obviously the main goal for Twitch Charity is to avoid the usage of middle-man service and that the platform be completely autonomous including tracking donations, converting subs and Bits, managing multiple programs and apps at once.
A good but surprising move (as Twitch is not as user friendly as of lately), the cut that they will ask for the fundraising is ZERO or in a TLDR, Twitch will not force users to give a cut of the fundraising but as this is a closed BETA, I would not trust to say this will be a perpetual thing, and I hope that Twitch proves me wrong.
