In a surprising and no good news shared by 343 Industries, those who are still behind Season 2, probably will have more than enough time to catch up and there is some other bad news as well for those waiting for new modes on Halo Infinite.

In September 2022 Dev Update, 343 Industries confirmed that Season 3 is NOT coming in November 2022, but March 2023 and the new and long wait is due that they are preparing more stuff for Season 3 as the roadmap is being updated.

Officially, Season 3 will be called Echoes Within and will include 2 new maps in Arena and Big Team Battle, along a new weapon called M392 Bandit, new equipment and a 100 tier Battle Pass along with custom Battler browsing, narrative event, in-game reporting, Forge Beta Updates, General QoA improvements, New Fracture event and finally new Game Modes called VIP and Escalation.

Also both the Campaign coop and Forge mods BETAs will be delayed to November to come along with the November Update of Halo Infinite, so practically September will be just patching things up.

For the November Update, we are expecting new ways to earn XP and NOT LIMITED ONLY to complete challenges with the inclusion of a new Match XP beta that lets players level up alongside completing the battle pass.
