Sorry for planning something but not doing it at the last minute. Which was streaming and all of that. Especially the planned streaming from last month. I was busy lately with due assignments and grinding from passive income streams. Really was not thinking of doing anything at that time. As I've got a ton in my plate to do. I'll make it up with some Modded Minecraft Videos on a platform called Odysee. Link is right here: https://odysee.com/@nexus_kraft3r:7. So make sure you tune in whenever you can tonight.

  • My name is SirenHellVixen and I am a Twitch variety streamer who is also severely chronically ill and disabled.

I cannot work at all and am bedbound most of the time due to severe chronic pain, chronic fatigue and many other medical conditions that leave me disabled.

As I can't work, I live in poverty on just over £350 a month total income which isn't enough for anything, let alone food, bills etc.
I can't afford rent so share a house for minimal costs to save me from being homeless.

I never expect a penny, but if you enjoy my streams, I appreciate any support.

I am 100% transparent and I even list my subscription count online which is usually 1-3 at the most.
Most I ever hit was 10 from gifted subs which I only had once and never went above 5 subs ever again.

I can't afford to get by and live on a can of value beans a day with my 30p(ish) a day for food which means I am hungry all the time and in hundreds of pounds of debt for energy bills even though I haven't had heating all winter as I couldn't afford it, even when it was 3c inside for months.

This is why I stream. As my only job and only chance of earning money for food and bills. Although I expect nothing, which is around what I get.

I also have my birthday stream on the 9th August for anyone that wants to drop by. I don't expect anything as I never get gifts for birthdays or christmas due to no relatives alive, but if you want to buy anything, I have a wish list on my links page below.

  • Due to my health deteriorating due to chronic illnesses that leave me disabled, I now stream Wednesdays at 2pm UK time.

This is for the foreseeable future, but I hope to go back to twice if my health allows.

All earnings made go on food and bills which I cannot afford due to being unable to work and living on a poverty income of just over £350 a month which is all I can get.

If you want more streamers to watch, I appreciate and viewers as this is my only job as I can't do more due to being bedbound most of the time.

I don't ever expect any subs or tips, but if you do enjoy my streams I really appreciate and support so that I can afford enough food which I can't as it is.
I live on a can of value beans a day as my only meal.

  • In today's "I want to be that guy" edition... It is disingenuous to think that a $16/hour streaming on Kick IS FOR EVERYONE and also, Kick is nobody above IRS to NOT report your income to "help out".

If this happens to be true & if you apply for this, think twice on the long-term effects rather the short-term.

  • Being a chronically ill and disabled streamer is so very hard.
So much harder than anyone realises.
All because I am trying to earn money for food and heat as someone chronically ill, disabled and living on a poverty income of just over £300 a month (USD $240)

I am bedbound for 4 days now after a stream. Used to be 2, then 3, now 4 which is hard as I have 2 streams a week.

I am left in extreme pain and extremely fatigued due to chronic pain and chronic fatigue, both of which are severe and leave me disabled, unable to work at all.

I live in poverty on just over £300 a month, which doesn't cover rent so I have to share a house or I would be homeless.
I pay towards bills, my food and heating and that is it, but I can't even afford that on my poverty income.

Did you know that my only hope of an income is from my Twitch stream?

I never expect a penny and say that a lot. If I am lucky enough to get a sub (I struggle to get 3 a month) I am close to tears as I am that grateful.

I rarely get more than $3-$7 a month on Twitch, even after nearly 4 years of streaming.
This is because I can't promote myself enough, nor network as I am literally in bed recovering when not streaming.

I guess the story is to say that you don't know how hard it is for some of us to stream.

I do this as a job and said that since day 1. I also say all the time I don't expect a penny, but if you do support me, you are putting food on the table and allowing me heating. Both I can't afford enough of (no heat at all) due to poverty.

It is a million times harder for me to stream than someone who isn't chronically ill, and it is a billion times harder to get viewers as I can't do the things you need to, to grow on Twitch.

If you want to support me, I have a list of ways you can, from FREE to paid: https://ko-fi.com/post/Support-Me--SirenHellVixen-Z8Z3GOCJ7

  • Good morning, muñaños

I think there's no way to really get words that aren't carefully chosen without getting anything in the way so I'll do this on the first try...
It's exactly 1 year ago, 365 days at 1PM that day, I was getting an orientation with HR Director Jeanie along with fellow content creators and we were welcomed to EasternMediaGG.

It has been a rewarding experience and above all quite educational, because (and I think this is not the first time I have said it), I joined with an innocent but mistaken mentality.

This entire year of EasternMediaGG, I just watched, supported as much as possible with my time without neglecting my content as such and saw that I did no wrong in making this a hobby, trying to at least have this as passive income AND IT'S OK if I don't I have still achieved and that (without neglecting myself and my family), I just have to do what is important as a gamer, HAVE FUN.

To be honest (and I'm not supposed to be sharing this), Jeanie had some reservations about EMGG accepting me as a member as my interview with Blackbuiscuit as I mentioned that I made the same mistake that everyone who starts from scratch and has no map at creation makes. of content, being accepted in a Twtich team that months later, I would find out that they are from these groups of Follow X Follow and apparently (and I am guessing here), that raised the flag that I could be an org-kangaroo (something that with my time in EMGG I started to displease and feel ashamed of those who do it without pain or glory).

Thankfully, Jeanie gave me the opportunity and it only remained to prove myself.

In short, my mistaken mentality is thanks to the stigmas of people who don't know and the first thing they see when they mention FaZe, Optics, Cloud 9, <mention your org here>, etc., and I thought I was going to be the next big sensation (in fact one of the members called me the next big rising star of EMGG and I still aspire to that).
But realizing it over time, I then decided to observe, in silence and let things flow and here are the results:

-An excellent community where yes, everyone has to give their grain of sand so that we ALL benefit.
-Having a concentrated organization where its members grow and not only the organization itself is already a winning point for me.
-Despite being a nobody in matters of esport, EMGG is the closest thing after my family where I have felt supported even though I do not officially belong to the esport team or be sponsored.
-Help me with my self-confidence (to this day I still hate how I sound on recordings with my shrill, gravelly voice).
-Create a mindset of learning and relearning all the time.
-My first official collaboration with the Gamers Outreach fundraiser in spring 2022.

For fear of someone staying with me, I will be directly thanking Jeanie and Blackbiscuit, since they were the link for this to happen and Jeannie, thanks for the opportunity and yes, you were right to raise the flag because I would have done the same .

Maze, Mao and JJ, you were the ones who made me feel that in another universe we should be in the same place as members of EMGG and specifically, Mao, always grateful for the opportunity to prove myself in the world of esports which I say that I should have joined for a decade being a gamer all my life and I will always live with the guilt of having been in an inactive period in EVERY way, now what I have left is to make up for lost time.

Log1kz is a nice person and although I understand why he is no longer officially on the EMGG staff, I hope that things can change so that he can rejoin and yes, if I were to resume my podcast and do the English version , I would like to have him as a co-host.

Finally Zimm, Founder and CEO of EasternMediaGG, I'm going to start by talking honestly, there was a time I thought he didn't like me to the point where "let me stop bothering him or anything like that" and yes, I would start reading negative things that people repeated, but when you see the resonance of everything related to it, it was the org-kangaroos twisting things in a bad way.

The reality is that over time I have started to do my homework (in concern that it was me or my insecurities that made Zimm uncomfortable or something) and yes, it included going to the catalog of the EMGG Before The Meeting podcast and now I understood many aspects of the things that Zimm has gone through and how he has overcome many things to be the person he is and this is not saying it, but his story is impressive and that video games and making an org is the most effective way to give a positive turn to his life and today, professionally speaking, he has made a level-up.

While I agree that you should include a subgoal or other financial goal on your streams, I also think you shouldn't put pressure on your audience to achieve these goals. I think your primary focus should be on content improvement; if viewers want to contribute or subscribe, they will. Even while you gain more as you grow more popular, you don't get there by constantly making your audience feel guilty. It's their income at the end of the day. In addition to donations and subscriptions, there are numerous other ways for streamers to make money that are not only FREE, but doesn't guilt trip your audience.
