-Playstation doubles wariness on having Microsoft with PS6 details/dev kits
-An email from Phil Spencer in August 2022 was the moment he knew things will not go well for Playstation if the transaction closes
-Acknowledge that was convinced that it was King and mobile studios the main target of the purchase
-Ryan told Bobby Kotick that wanted the deal blocked

  • Is a fact that tech world does not have friends in neither democrats or republicans in the USA, but as much as the FTC desires to block the Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, they DON'T have a legal standing as the world still nurtured of devs and publishers.

If FTC really wants to completely stop tech and gaming companies to buying each other, they need to ask SCOTUS a redefinition of Vertical Sale and things like AT&T buying Time Warner and Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard can have legal standing on being objected.

  • In a notable update, Amazon Studios and Smilegate RPG released their feedback on this first month of Lost Ark's availability on our side of the world and what we should expect for the arrival of Tier 3.

Admitting that the original plan was to gradually push out Tier 3 content, the main events would have felt like a pay-to-win and not the desired experience.

Instead, both Amazon Studios as a publisher and Smilegate RPG as a creator are looking at how to make the Tier 3 release along with content the most engaging yet best experience for users and how Argos can be particularly challenged.

For now, more activity content is being worked on over content that is to end campaigns, along with settings to highlight the West's way of playing and not exactly emulate the East, where the game was originally released.

Regarding the Legion Raids, they will not be launched until a large part of active users reach a certain level so that they do not become unplayable.

Finally, they plan to allow players to earn more Honing materials through in-game content (including a new informal Guardian Raid event) to help offset shortages and pricing issues caused by bots (who are seeing less) and players who don't have enough alt yet. supply your network.

The teams are also discussing the opening of next week's PvP season with Competitive Proving Grounds, as well as other rewards. In addition, everyone will receive a gift pack of cosmetics and useful items next week.

  • Seeing the importance and future of its business in the world of podcasts, Spotify once again takes out its portfolio to buy two important platforms that help content creators.

It is about Chartable and Podsights, which are analytical tools and particularly, to be able to add "tags" for it to make a podcast be "seen" by SEOs and help a podcast organically be seen in search engines.

It was not indicated when the closing of the transaction could be expected, possibly to increase the chances of having regulators happy and how much money is being talked about.

Monark is yet another JRPG academy adventure, but with a dark demonic twist.

Developer/publisher Furyu (who brought us the underrated JRPG gem Crystar), has made yet another stunning looking game called Monark.

Monark looks set to continue the company’s slight twist on the genre, with an otherworldly take on the JRPG staple that is “high school students in danger”.

  • 2K Games admits personal data was visible to hackers on last month's intrusion
I gave up battling a DMCA strike that Rockstar Games decided to flag against me on Twitter after using a picture of a leaked GTA 6 footage out of fair use as THERE WERE NOT a trace of the leaked footage at all at GGs. Regardless of my public rants, I now got a hold on the 2K Games official site (and as Rockstar Games, a member of parent company Take-Two Interactive) and it is a sad...
  • 9to5Google: Hideo Kojima wanted to be a big Stadia partner
Honestly there is no much to talk of Stadia as there are no more positive news and all the contrary, I seen in social media how gaming publishers and developers practically needs to make some loses, and in worst-case, studios that were preparing to have Stadia as their main income as proposed games now needs to be redeveloped for other platforms if the change is viable that is. But I cannot...

  • Amazon Games Studios’s leader will step down
Evidently Amazon Game Studios gained some needed air with New World and being the exclusive publisher for the Western version of Lost Ark after some misses, most notably the failure of Crucible getting out of Beta just to be canceled. But a report by Bloomberg probably confirms many’s suspicion that a bad management is the root of the problem, as Amazon Game Studios boss, Mike Frazzini,...

  • Another Amazon Games Studios executive leaves amid difficulties
Is ok for Amazon to try to have a piece of the gaming industry and while Amazon Game Studio as a publisher has great success stories, unfortunately as a developer, things haven't been rolling after the initial campaign of New World. An evidence of this, is the exit of Mike Frazzini 9 months ago despite being an Amazon veteran and maybe underestimating the challenges that the gaming industry was...
