Officially #TheLegendOfZelda will go to theaters as Nintendo confirmed today & surprisingly, the movie will be co-developed along Sony Pictures and Arad Productions Inc. with Shigeru Miyamoto & Avi Arad as producers & Wes Ball directing. Years ago, reportedly Nintendo cancelled an unannounced joint venture with Netflix to bring a The Legend Of Zelda production to the streaming service after Nintendo blamed Netflix on leaking the information on purpose, ignoring that Nintendo isn't a fan of hyping with rumors. Boy, I bet Netflix regretted doing that. After the expected success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie co-developed by Illumination, rumors about a second production focused on the Zelda franchise didn't wait, only to both Nintendo & Illumination to deny reports, but of course, The Minions maker would have love to work. #Gaming #GamingNews

The tenacity of not including the game in times where gamers and companies are at odds as ever... I am skipping because: A) I prefer Super Mario RPG remake, because WTF no?! B) Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be remastered on next-gen Nintendo Hardware or just wait for an offer.

The rumors became true! Mario & Luigi on Super Mario Bros. Wonder are indeed voiced by new actors so officially, Charles Martinet last stint as Mario was in Super Mario Odyssey.

Super Mario voice since Super Mario 64, Charles Martinet, will be accepting a new role in #Nintendo as "Mario Ambassador" for Nintendo, which makes him unable to reprise the voice of Mario, marking Super Mario Bros. Wonder as his last game. No words on who is replacing him. But at the same time, I was raised about rumors that Super Mario Bros. Wonder IS IN FACT the first Super Mario Bros. game without Martinet's voice or using pre-recorded stuff from other games. So there is a possibility that Super Mario Odyssey is actually the last game.

Nintendo might take this as "I am going to be that guy" episode. Between Super Mario RPG Remake & Super Mario Bros. Wonder... I rather go with RPG Remake, pass Wonder because I KNOW Nintendo will port it to their next hardware, as predictable the industry has become & I SAID IT!

A quick and unrequired non-spoiling review The Super Mario Bros. Movie was indeed a success not only because Shigueru Miyamoto input, but also being the gateway of any outside contribution, mainly Illumination and this was seen in the good use of lore of the Mario franchise up to Super Mario Odyssey (AND I MEAN ALL if you are a good observer and know Mario COMPLETE history which include a pre NES era) and pretty much the minimal "touches" of Hollywood IS A GOOD THING regardless of Hollywood thinking the contrary.

And of course, there is no "goodbye" to current Nintendo Hardware with at least a second main Mario game. Shigeru Miyamoto has publicly invited Nintendo fans to stay tuned for future Nintendo Direct presentations for incoming news of the publicly acknowledged new Super Mario Bros. game in development.
