Basically people wanted a better answer to Xbox Game Pass and Sony failed as per their recent earning reports results and all regarding the gaming market with Playstation, probably we might see changes.

This morning, Sony announced the result of its Q2 of fiscal year 2022 landing almost 2.752 billion yen ($18.58) million in net sales and with everything else positive, except for some core business of Playstation.

Specifically Playstation, PlayStation Plus subscription service has dropped from 47.3 million at the end of June to 45.4 million in the three months leading up to September 30 - a decrease of 4%.

Of course, Sony is using a retrospective approach to calm investors down regarding Playstation numbers, as in equivalent, these numbers are better than the equivalent of the Playstation 4 days.

But unfortunately, that’s an eclipse with the fact that PS5 salees saw the numbers of 25 million units sold but added that this quarter only, Playstation saw the lack of 1 million gamers active less than previous report, leaving a new global of 6.5 million gamers.

As a response to this inconsistency, it has plans to accelerate the adoption of PS5 hardware to “recover this user engagement going forward”.
